May 1: Season start at the Museum Railway; special train schedule; reopening of the old station at Br.Vilsen, steam engine "Spreewald" returns to operation; additional events.
May 26 & 27: Pentecost, additional steam train rides: Br.Vilsen dep.: 11.00am; 1.10pm; 3.00pm; Asendorf dep.: 12.00am; 2.10pm; 4.20pm; on May 26 additional "Orpheusexpress" Br.Vilsen dep. 7.30am.
June 22 & 23: Historical weekend with freight train operations.
June 24 & 25: Workday rides for schools and groups. Br.Vilsen dep.: 09.00am; 11.00am (more rides if required).
July 20: "Schlemmer-Express", Br.Vilsen dep. 7.00pm (Reservation required) - culinary ride with 5 Meal-Stations.
August 17 & 18: Railfan Spectacular, bring your camera!
September 6 & 7: "Kartoffel-Express", Br.Vilsen dep. 7.00pm (Reservation required) - late ride with a special potatoe dinner.
September 8: Open House at the museum / historical harvest day at Asendorf; additional motorcar rides, schedule see Pentecost.
Nov. 30, December 7/14/21: Train rides with Santa Claus, Br.Vilsen dep.: 2.00pm; 4.15pm.
December 1/8/15/22: Train rides with Santa Claus, Br.Vilsen dep.: 11.15am; 2.00pm; 4.15pm.

Bike transportation available. Nearly all steam trains will have buffet service.
You can interrupt your trip at every station. Please ask the conductor for details.
Additional trains and group reservation on request at the station office.
Ticket counter and bookshop at Bruchhausen-Vilsen station will open one hour before departure of the first train.
